Seafood Sales Professional Wanted

Based in Seattle, WA, Seattle Shrimp & Seafood Company (SSSC), is a dynamic seafood importation and sales company that deals in a wide range of frozen seafood products. We are currently seeking a highly motivated seafood sales professional who would be responsible for new key account development and current account growth in both retail and food service sectors.

SSSC proudly services a spectrum of Customer sectors including wholesale distributors, broad line distributors, chain food service accounts, club stores and retail chain stores. Our core product groups are: all forms and origins of Shrimp; Snow, King, and Dungeness Crab; cold and warm water Lobster, Salmon, Swai, Tilapia, and Tuna; and Sushi items.

The ideal candidate would possess a strong background selling our core product groups to key accounts, have proven experience building long term partnerships with Customers and securing repetitive program business. Compensation will be DOE.

General Responsibilities Include:

  • Successfully execute company sales plans and goals
  • Bring in and develop new Customer relationships while maintaining existing Customer base
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working partnerships with Customers
  • Establish and execute unique strategic sales plans for Customers
  • Monitor and provide account performance to ensure revenue and profitability goals are achieved
  • Make proactive changes to strategies as necessary
  • Provide feedback to organization on Customer requirement to help drive strategic product direction and improve customer service experience
  • Establish and execute strategic marketing initiatives to support Company growth
  • Identify business opportunities by consistently researching potential Customers and products
Requirements Include:
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency and experience in managing Customers, creating partnerships and building long term program sales
  • Knowledge of core products (listed above)
  • Fully committed enthusiastic sales driven personality with a positive attitude
  • The ability to work independently and together cohesively with your peers as a TEAM
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skill, both verbal and written
  • Superior Customer Service skill and the desire to help people
  • The ability and foresight to proactively identify business opportunities as well as risks
  • Must be able to sit or stand while working for extended periods of time
  • Must be available to travel as needed

Sales Manager Wanted

  • A proven track record selling proteins ( crab meat a plus)
